This was my first experience at a Dominican hair salon, so I did not know what to expect; especially with all of the bad press Dominican salons have gotten in the past. But I decided to just go with my gut and try it for myself, and I am so glad I did! Between the availability of the stylists, the speed, and the prices, I think I have found my new silk press spot! The service I got: a blow out, trim, and silk press. I will say, the blow dryers are HOT so if you are a curly girl who likes to wear her curls and don’t like excessive heat, it’s probably not for you. I’m a curly girl, but I do not wear my natural curls, so I wasn’t too concerned about the heat. But I’m sure they could adjust the setting if you ask. Overall, 10/10 experience for me, and I’m looking forward to going back.

Aparis Hair Salon has delivered again! She actually has made me feel special again, and I look and feel good through her hair styling. She reminds me of my hair stylist from Brooklyn, New York. I came in non confident, but by the time she was finished with my haircut, my confidence was high! She also advised on what haircut was suitable for me to be able to grow back my hair in a healthy looking way. She has a kind, humble way about her while she was doing my hair. Mary did an amazing job coloring my hair! She was also extremely accommodating! I had an appointment with one of the barbers and before leaving asked if I could make an appointment to get my hair colored. She told me if I could wait about 30 minutes she would fit me in. Just like that! It was indeed worth the wait! I found a skillful barber and an amazing hair stylist in the same place!

Mary was wonderful. She did a cut and color for both my daughter and I, and we loved it. Also the shop was very clean.
